Microsoft Corporation is an American multinational computer technology corporation headquartered in Redmond, Washington. Microsoft was founded by Bill Gates and Paul Allen on 1975 April 4. The main function of the company is that it develops, supports and sells a huge range of products and services related to computer software and personal computers. Microsoft is a well-renowned software company that is known for the Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft office suite. It develops, manufactures, licenses supports and sells computer software, consumer electronics, personal computers, and services. Its best-known software products are the Microsoft Windows line of operating systems, the Microsoft Office suite, and the Internet Explorer and Edge web browsers.Microsoft is one name that is ever-present with the world of computing and it is a dream of many individuals to work in the company. Microsoft began with 11 employees to work and ever since it has been growing by leaps and bounds.

Online Round : The online coding round consists of 5 -6 questions with a time duration of 1 hour - 1 hour 30 minutes. The questions level varies and  the questions are  from Arrays, String, Single Linked List, Double Linked List ,graph ,BST, stack ,queue etc.

Onsite Round : Onsite round is nothing but a written coding test. Questions are given to a student with a time duration of 10 -15 mins  to solve the problems  and the next 20 minutes are then given  to explain the way you have solved the problem  to the mentor or the questioner , it is to check that how good you are in explaining and solving problems in a given small time duration .

Technical Round (3) :The questions are  asked from the projects and  internships/training you have done in summer and winter holidays. subjects like Data Structure, Algorithms, Operating System, Networking, Database Management,C,C++,Python,Compiler etc.Students are said to  write codes of given questions .The final technical round consists of System Designing where questions  can be asked  from Cloud Computing, Microsoft Azure, Dropbox and various Microsoft technology driven engines,wordpress,drupal.

HR round :HR questions like:

  • Where do you see yourself in next 5 years?
  • Questions on family background,Strengths and Weaknesses.
  • Questions on resume.
  • Your hobbies and interests 
  • tricky, logical puzzles
