It has the following business segments: natural gas, liquid hydrocarbon, liquefied petroleum gas transmission, petrochemical, city gas distribution, exploration and production, GAILTEL and electricity generation. Apart from through GATE Cutoff Marks, GAIL also conduct Direct Exam for Recruitment in GAIL.

Eligibility criteria (All information):

B.E. / B.tech / IDD / M.tech / BSc (Engg) with 65% Marks (General Category / OBC ) & 55% Marks (SC/ ST / Pwd)

Age Limit- 28 years (General Category) Age relaxation for reserved category as per govt. regulation.

GATE exam Code(For recruitment through GATE exam cutoff marks): Chemical (CH), Instrumentation (IN)

Selection Procedure:

GAIL Application form:- Month of February.

1. GATE Score(Cutoff marks) followed GD and Personal Interview.
2. Off campus drive (Direct Exam).
